1. Is it possible to make changes after I place my order?

Yes, definitely, as long as the total price of your revised order is equal to the price of your original order. For example, if you ordered a tape that is $10, then the order could changed to two $5 tapes, a different $10 tape, etc. Our policy is that all changes made within 24 hours of the CCNow form being sent will be accomodated.

Any changes requested after the 24 hour period will be dealt with on a case to case basis. However, as a general rule, as long as your tapes have not been put in the mail yet, we are willing to make changes.

2. Can I pay without using a credit card?

Yes, of course. On the Order Page, there is an order form that is able to be printed and sent out. Also, there is a specific list of payment options for each area of the world.

3. Do you trade tapes?

Very rarely. We deal with these requests on a case by case basis. Let us know what you have and we'll let you know whether we're interested or not. Generally, we are only interested in excellent quality tapes.

4. How long should I expect to wait for my order?

The following is an updated, specific and concise shipping policy for the site:

First of all, it an order is made by credit card, your credit card information must be verified by CCNow before we even learn that you have made your order. Usually this takes only about 6-12 hours, but in rare cases it has taken as much as two or three days.

As soon as we receive confirmation from CCNow about your order, the order is processed here and the tapes are sent out. We guarantee that all tapes are sent out within two business days of us becoming aware of them. A confirmation letter, assuming a valid e-mail address has been provdied, is sent either the day your order is sent off or the day after. From there, it depends on where the order is headed:

Canada

All Canadian orders are sent standard Canada Post mail and should arrive within one week depending on where in Canada you are - those on the west coast should expect to wait a little longer.

USA

All US orders of two tapes or less are sent out airmail, with orders larger than three tapes going surface mail. Surface should take around a week to ten days, with air being a little bit quicker.

Airmail is available on orders larger than two tapes, although its usefulness can be debated. Often orders sent surface and air can take just as long.

If you'd like to have more than two tapes sent airmail, simply order each set of two tapes individually, and then so on, until your order is complete. Make sure the orders are made within 24 hours of each other and that you clearly indicate that'd you like multiple airmail shipping.

International

International orders of two tapes are less are sent out airmail, with orders larger than three tapes going surface mail. Surface has taken as much as one week to a month in the past - there are too many variables involved to make a good estimation. Airmail is usually between one and two weeks.

Airmail is available on orders larger than two tapes, but to be honest, we've heard from enough people in the past that have said there is little to no difference internationally between air and surface mail.

If you'd like to have more than two tapes sent airmail, simply order each set of two tapes individually, and then so on, until your order is complete. Make sure the orders are made within 24 hours of each other and that you clearly indicate that'd you like multiple airmail shipping.

5. Do you have this specific tape?

We have many, many tapes that are not listed on the website. Please feel free to e-mail us at goldenboytapes@goldenboytapes.com for any tape enquiries. However, be warned that the reason many of our tapes are not listed is because they are lower in quality than what is listed on the site.

6. What is the quality of your video tapes?

About 90% of our tapes are in between very good and excellent condition, and the majority of those are excellent. Those few tapes that are below very good in condition are both clearly marked and, in my opinion, adequately priced. Compilation tapes vary in condition.
